Why it is built this way
"Tour dates go up the Monday before." VLTA's bio sets a rhythm fans can plan around, and the page is built for people who already know what they came for.
Someone was at a warehouse set on Saturday and wants to hear it again. They tap through and meet a splash screen first. Because the splash is switched on, the page opens on a single image before the buttons appear, which feels more like entering a venue than opening a menu. Then the first button, "Last set, recorded in full", gives them exactly what they wanted. "Tickets" catches the next date, and "Bookings" is there for promoters.
The page needs very few words. Three short labels, a four-letter name and a bio about late nights; the atmosphere carries the rest. A pure black background (#000000), light grey bio text (#D5D2D0), and buttons with a gradient from hot red-orange (#F9452D) to deep oxblood (#7A140A), like stage lights dimming. The name is in Syne, whose wide letters have a club-flyer feel, and Urbanist keeps the buttons clean. Rounded buttons take a little of the edge off.
A DJ whose crowd finds them the morning after should put the recording first, and that is how this classic layout is ordered.
