Linktree Pricing: Plans From $0 to $35, Plus Sales Fees

Linktree has a free plan and three paid ones: Starter at $8 a month ($6 billed annually), Pro at $15 ($12 annually) and Premium at $35 ($30 annually), plus custom pricing for agencies and enterprise. If you sell digital products through Linktree, the plan price is only part of the bill, because Linktree also takes 12% of each sale on Free, 9% on Starter and Pro, and 0% on Premium, before Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30.

For a page you never sell through, the plan price is the whole cost and the choice comes down to features. For a page that sells, the percentage usually matters more than the subscription, and the numbers below show where the lines cross.

Annual billing saves $24 a year on Starter, $36 on Pro and $60 on Premium. Linktree marks Pro as its recommended plan. No Linktree page we checked showed different prices by region.

The fee that matters more than the plan

Linktree charges two separate things when someone buys a digital product or course from your page. Its own transaction fee, which depends on your plan, and Stripe's processing fee, which is 2.9% + $0.30 per purchase on every plan. Both come out before your payout.

Linktree's help center works through a $34.99 course:

PlanLinktree feeStripe feeYou receive
Free$4.20 (12%)$1.31$29.48
Starter or Pro$3.15 (9%)$1.31$30.53
Premium$0.00$1.31$33.68

For affiliate and shop links (Linktree calls these Partner Earnings), the fee is charged on the commission you earn rather than the order value, and the help center doesn't publish a flat rate for them. Linktree also notes that some of its earning features aren't available to every user.

What a $500 month costs on each plan

Say you sell a $20 guide 25 times in a month, $500 in sales. Stripe takes $0.88 per sale, $22 in total, on every plan. Here is what reaches you, subscription included:

PlanLinktree feePlan cost (annual / monthly billing)You keep (annual / monthly billing)
Free$60$0 / $0$418 / $418
Starter$45$6 / $8$427 / $425
Pro$45$12 / $15$421 / $418
Premium$0$30 / $35$448 / $443

At $500 a month, Premium is the cheapest way to sell on Linktree, and Pro billed monthly leaves you with exactly what Free does. You would pick Pro at that volume for what it adds (no Linktree branding, custom layouts, better analytics), not to save money.

Where each upgrade pays for itself

  • Free to Starter: Starter cuts the fee from 12% to 9%. It pays for itself at $200 a month in digital product sales on annual billing, or $266.67 on monthly billing.
  • Pro to Premium: Premium removes the 9%. It pays for its extra cost at $200 a month on annual billing, or $222.22 on monthly billing.
  • Free to Premium: $250 a month on annual billing, $291.67 on monthly.
  • Starter to Premium: $266.67 a month on annual billing, $300 on monthly.

On annual billing both single-step upgrades break even at the same $200 a month, which makes for a simple rule: if your Linktree sales clear $200 a month, the plan with the lower fee is already paying for itself.

What Linktree does well

  • A free plan that stays free. Unlimited basic links, permanently. Our piece on whether Linktree is free covers what that plan does and doesn't include.
  • Recognition. Linktree says it has over 70 million users, and it is the tool most of this category gets compared against.
  • Ease. User reviews aggregated on SaaSworthy praise its simplicity and how quickly a page goes live.
  • A real 0% option. Premium removes Linktree's own fee on digital product sales entirely, which puts it in line with flat-fee storefronts for sellers at volume.
  • Trials on the plans that matter. Pro and Premium both offer 7 days free.

Where Linktree falls short

  • 12% on the free plan. It is the highest rate on Linktree's own fee table, and the plan most new sellers start on.
  • Branding stays until Pro. Starter doesn't remove the Linktree logo; Pro does.
  • The shared address. A free page lives on linktr.ee, and one recurring complaint in user reviews is that the linktr.ee URL "can be perceived as unprofessional."
  • Shallow free analytics. Reviewers note the free plan lacks detailed analytics and reporting; deeper data sits on paid tiers, and data export on Premium.

Who each plan suits

Free suits a simple list of links you don't sell through. Starter is the cheapest way to sell between $200 and about $267 a month on annual billing, if you don't mind the Linktree branding. Pro is the plan for a clean, branded page with better analytics. Premium is the cheapest plan for anyone selling digital products through Linktree above about $267 a month on annual billing ($300 on monthly), and anyone who wants social scheduling or Instagram auto-replies in the same tool.

Look elsewhere if your page exists mainly to sell and you need a full storefront with booking and courses (Linktree vs Beacons vs Stan Store compares those), or if you need to know which link got clicked, by whom and from where, on a budget; our wider roundup of Linktree alternatives covers those cases.

Where Raydar fits

If you sell digital products inside your link page, Linktree is the better pick: Raydar has no checkout, and none of its plans include one. Raydar's case is for a link page that routes traffic and needs to show where it came from. Every click ties back to the platform or campaign that sent it, and to the exact post when your links carry UTM tags. The free plan is $0 for two pages with basic analytics and no card. Starter is $9 a month, or $6.49 billed annually, and includes your own domain, IP-level click data, ten pages and no Raydar branding; removing the branding on Linktree takes Pro. Raydar takes a 0% platform fee on every plan. See the pricing page, or the full comparison in Raydar vs Linktree.
