Stan Store costs $29 a month on the Creator plan or $99 a month on Creator Pro, or $300 and $948 a year if you pay annually. Stan takes 0% of your sales on both plans, but Stripe or PayPal still takes its processing fee, which for a standard US card sale through Stripe is 2.9% + $0.30.
So the honest price of Stan is the subscription plus the processor's cut, on top of everything the storefront itself includes. How much that cut matters depends on how much you sell, which is what the worked examples below are for.
Stan Store plans and prices
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Annual works out to | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Creator | $29/month | $300/year | $25/month (saves $48) | Storefront, calendar and booking, store and product analytics, unlimited course builder, recurring subscriptions, email collection, community features, AutoDM for Instagram |
| Creator Pro | $99/month | $948/year | $79/month (saves $240) | Everything in Creator, plus discount codes, limited-quantity offers, upsells and order bumps, payment plans (Stan Payments, Afterpay, Klarna), funnels, affiliate management, email import, broadcasts and flows, and pixel tracking for Meta, Google, Pinterest and TikTok |
Prices as of September 27, 2026. Check Stan's current plan page at help.stan.store before you buy.
There is no free plan. Stan's help center answers that question with "Not at the moment!" and points out that affiliate-only accounts, which people sometimes mistake for a free store, don't include Stan Store features. What Stan does offer is a 14-day free trial. Sources disagree on whether the trial asks for a card (a review by GroupApp, a competing creator platform, says both in different places), and Stan's own pages we checked don't settle it, so look at the signup screen before you assume either way.
Plan prices are listed in US dollars with no regional price toggle on any Stan page we checked. The processing fees are a different story.
The fees Stan doesn't charge, and the ones that still apply
Stan's help article on fees is blunt about it: Stan earns 0% from transactions, and because it doesn't handle payments directly, it has no control over what Stripe and PayPal charge. For a US seller, Stan lists these Stripe rates:
- Standard card purchase: 2.9% + $0.30
- Afterpay: 6.0% + $0.30
- Klarna: 5.99% + $0.30
- Customer in another country: an extra 1.5%
- Payout fee: 0.25% + $0.25 per payout, minimum $1
PayPal sales carry PayPal's standard 3.49% plus a fixed fee based on the currency, and those fees don't show in Stan's Income tab; you see them inside PayPal.
Outside the US, the standard Stripe rate Stan lists changes:
| Seller country | Standard Stripe purchase fee (per Stan) |
|---|---|
| United States | 2.9% + $0.30 |
| Canada | 2.9% + $0.30 |
| United Kingdom | 1.5% + £0.20 |
| Australia | 1.75% + A$0.30 |
| New Zealand | 2.7% + NZ$0.30 |
One fee catches people out. When you refund a customer, you refund the full price, and Stripe keeps its fee. Stan's own example: sell something for $50, Stripe takes about $2, you earn $48, and a refund pulls the full $50 back out of your balance.
What you actually pay: three worked examples
All three use the Creator plan billed monthly ($29), US card payments through Stripe at 2.9% + $0.30, and leave out the per-payout fee, which depends on how often you get paid.
A steady month: ten $50 sales
You take $500. Stripe takes $1.75 per sale, $17.50 in total. Stan takes $29. You keep $453.50, so about 9.3% of revenue went to fees and the plan.
A quiet month: two $50 sales
You take $100. Stripe takes $3.50 and Stan still takes $29. You keep $67.50, and 32.5% of revenue went to costs. A flat fee is cheap when sales are strong and expensive when they aren't, and this is the month that decides whether Stan feels affordable.
A payment plan on Creator Pro: one $300 coaching package
Paid by card, Stripe takes $9.00. Paid through Klarna, it takes $18.27. Payment plans can lift sales on bigger offers, but on Stan's published rates they roughly double the processing cost per sale, and they only exist on the $99 plan.
When Creator Pro is worth it
On annual billing, Pro costs $54 a month more than Creator ($79 against $25). On monthly billing the gap is $70. Pro earns its keep if its tools (order bumps, discount codes, email flows, payment plans, ad pixels) bring in more than that in extra sales each month, a little more once Stripe's cut comes off.
The deciding feature is usually email. On Creator you can collect addresses; importing a list, sending broadcasts and running automated flows are Creator Pro features. If you plan to sell to your list, you are budgeting for $99, not $29.
Stan's flat fee against a free plan with a percentage
The main alternative pricing model is a free plan that takes a cut of each sale. Linktree's free plan, for example, charges 12% on digital product sales, on top of the same Stripe fee. At $241.67 a month in sales, 12% equals Stan's $29. Below that, the percentage model costs you less in platform fees. Above it, Stan's flat fee wins, and the gap widens with every sale. On Stan's annual plan the crossover drops to $208.33 a month.
That comparison is about fees only. The tools differ, and Linktree vs Beacons vs Stan Store covers what each one does.
Who Stan's pricing suits, and who should look elsewhere
Stan's pricing suits you if you sell digital products, courses, coaching or bookings every month and your sales comfortably clear a few hundred dollars. At that level the 0% platform fee does real work, and the flat subscription shrinks as a share of revenue.
Look elsewhere if:
- You don't sell anything yet. $29 a month is a lot for a link page, and there is no free tier to wait on.
- You need your own domain. Stan's help center says you can't create or embed a custom domain; your store stays at stan.store/yourusername, though you can forward a domain you own to it.
- Email is how you sell. Broadcasts and flows need Creator Pro, not the $29 plan.
- Annual billing tempts you, but you aren't sure you'll stick with Stan. Stan's refund policy covers payments from the last 30 days, one billing period, reviewed case by case, and not refunds for non-use.
Where Raydar fits
Raydar is not a storefront. Its plans are priced around pages, domains, analytics and API access, and none of them include a checkout, so if the job is selling digital products from your bio, Stan is the better pick.
Raydar fits when your bio link mostly sends people somewhere else, such as a shop, a booking page or a channel, and you want to know which of those clicks came from where. The free plan is $0 with two pages and basic analytics, no card required. Starter is $9 a month, or $6.49 a month billed annually, and adds ten pages, your own domain, advanced analytics with IP-level click data, and no Raydar branding. Raydar takes a 0% platform fee on every plan. Full details are on the pricing page, and Raydar vs Stan Store covers the setup where people run both.
