Linktree earned its position. It is easy, it is everywhere, and for a lot of people it is enough. But most creators who go looking for an alternative do it for one of three reasons: the analytics stop at a click count, the page lives on someone else's domain, or the free tier keeps nudging them toward a subscription that still doesn't fix the first two problems.
This is a working comparison of the eight alternatives we think are actually worth evaluating, including our own product. We build Raydar, so read that entry with the obvious grain of salt. Everything else is assessed on capability, not vibes.
What to actually compare
Before the list, the four things that separate these tools in practice:
- Analytics depth. Almost everything counts clicks. The useful question is what you learn per click: source, device, location, time, repeat visits. If you spend money or effort driving traffic, per-click detail is the difference between guessing and knowing.
- Domain ownership. A page at yourname.tool.com builds the tool's brand equity, not yours. Custom domain support, and whether it costs extra, matters more the longer you plan to be around.
- Page speed. Your visitors come from a tapped link inside a mobile app. Every second of load time is a real percentage of them gone.
- Where the tool wants to take you. Some of these are link pages. Some are storefronts, email tools, or funnel builders wearing a link page as a front door. Pick the one whose roadmap matches yours.
1. Raydar
Raydar is built around one idea: you should see who clicks, not just how many. Every click on your page is logged with IP-level detail: location, device, referrer, and time, in a logbook you can actually read through, not a single rolled-up chart. On top of that sit qualifier flows (short question funnels that segment visitors before they hit your links), digital business cards, custom domains, and built-in Instagram tools.
It suits creators and businesses who treat their bio link as a funnel they intend to optimize. If you just want five pretty buttons, it is more machinery than you need. There is a free tier with two pages and basic analytics; the deep click data starts on the Starter plan. See pricing for the current numbers.
2. Beacons
Beacons is the strongest all-in-one for creators who monetize directly. The link page is one module among many: media kits, email marketing, digital product sales, and invoicing live in the same account. Analytics are solid at the aggregate level. The tradeoff is focus: it is a creator business suite, and the link page reflects that, with upsells into the rest of the platform.
3. Stan Store
Stan is a storefront that happens to live in your bio. If your model is selling digital products, courses, or coaching directly from social traffic, it is arguably the category leader: checkout, upsells, and calendar bookings are native. As a pure link page it is expensive, and if you are not selling something it is the wrong tool.
4. Milkshake
Milkshake is a phone-first page builder: you assemble swipeable cards from your phone, and the result feels more like a mini Instagram story than a list of buttons. Great for personal brands that want personality with zero setup effort. Analytics are light, and there is no meaningful path to deep tracking.
5. Carrd
Carrd is not a link-in-bio tool; it is a one-page website builder that many people use as one. That is its strength and its cost: total design freedom, absurdly good value, custom domains on cheap paid tiers, but you assemble everything yourself and analytics means wiring up your own tracking. For tinkerers, it is the best value on this list.
6. Shorby
Shorby's angle is messenger-first: rich links into WhatsApp, Telegram, and DMs, plus retargeting pixels on outbound links. That pixel support makes it interesting for media buyers who want to build audiences from bio traffic. As a page builder it is serviceable rather than beautiful.
7. Taplink
Taplink is the budget pick with a surprisingly deep feature list: forms, payments, and messenger links on cheap plans. The editor and templates feel dated next to the others, but if price is the constraint it covers a lot of ground for very little.
8. Liinks
Liinks is the design pick: clean layouts, tasteful typography, and enough customization to feel like yours without a builder learning curve. Analytics stay at the counts level. If your priority is a page that looks considered and loads fast, it deserves a look.
How to choose
- You optimize a funnel: Raydar. Per-click data and qualifier flows exist for exactly this.
- You sell digital products: Stan Store, or Beacons if you also want email and media kits.
- You want maximum control for minimum money: Carrd.
- You want the page done from your phone in ten minutes: Milkshake or Liinks.
- You run ads and want pixels on everything: Shorby.
One migration tip regardless of destination: set up the new page fully, test it from your own phone over mobile data, and only then swap the URL in your bio. The link in your bio is live traffic; treat the swap like a deploy, not an experiment.
