Why it is built this way
A back catalogue only helps if a newcomer knows where to begin. Long Division solves that with its first button: "Start with episode 42". If you publish in a series, pick your best entry point and say so on the page. Sending a stranger to the latest entry can give them the least representative thing you have made.
The second button, "Transcripts", is for people who would rather read than listen, and for anyone searching for a line they half remember. Two buttons is enough when the work itself lives in a series.
The Nucleus layout puts a content section below the buttons, so recent pieces can appear without adding to the stack. The bio sets the rhythm in eight words: "One idea taken apart slowly, twice a month."
The design follows the pace of slow reading. Newsreader gives the name the look of a printed essay. Softer, rounder Figtree takes the bio and buttons. Colour stays muted: a warm near-black (#14130F), parchment-grey bio text (#C9C4BB), and one mauve (#A8629A) reserved for the buttons and the photo ring. Square corners keep it sober; this is a page for people who like footnotes.
When your audience finds you through a single clip or quote, the first button should be a door into the archive, and this template is set up for exactly that.
