Why it is built this way
"I saw the one on the corner sold." Most agents hear some version of that from a neighbour who is quietly thinking about selling. This page has a button for it, "Recent sale prices", and it sits third, after "What is on the market" and "Book an appraisal".
Look at who each button serves. Buyers get the listings button. Sellers get the other two: one books them in, the other gives them a reason to check back. An agent's income comes from listings, so weighting the page toward future sellers is a deliberate choice, and a smart one to copy.
The bio leads with local depth: "Selling houses in the inner north. Fourteen years, one postcode." It gives a time, a place and a commitment, and no adjectives at all.
Design stays out of its way. The editorial layout sets the name low over a full-width photo, the way a listing leads with the house. The background is near-black (#131313) with a pale grey bio (#E4E4E1). The buttons are a warm stone colour (#C8BCA6) with dark lettering (#171512), which reads as expensive without shouting, and that matters in a category where loud colour can feel like a sales pitch. Archivo sets the name and Instrument Sans the bio and buttons. Square corners keep it businesslike.
If your listings come from people who are not selling yet, build your page for them.
