Why it is built this way
"Find the door." The last button on the page says a lot about Cellar Twelve. A bar with twelve stools is easy to walk past, so the page ends with directions phrased the way a regular would give them.
The other three buttons run in the order of a decision made on the way over. "Tonight's list" comes first, because the by-the-glass selection changes and the bio already warns you: "Whatever is open by the glass goes on the board." "Hold a stool for two" is a booking button written in the bar's own voice, and it is warmer than a line reading "Reservations". "Wednesday tastings" gives regulars a reason to come back midweek.
That voice is the thing to borrow. Four labels, none of them generic, and together they tell you the bar is small, casual and a little hidden before you have seen a single photo.
The type backs it up. Instrument Serif sets the name in a tall, condensed serif with some drama, and Manrope, a clean geometric sans, keeps the buttons crisp. One berry pink (#B83A6E) fills the first button and rings the profile photo, with a soft pink-white (#FFF7FA) for the button lettering and pale warm grey (#DDD3CE) for the bio. The round button shape keeps the mood relaxed.
